Swedish Air Ambulance KSA lead the way for Digital Transformation in Aeromedical Care with Flightman
Kommunalförbundet Svenskt Ambulansflyg (KSA) is a national organization formed, mutually owned, and financed by all 21 regions in Sweden. The purpose of KSA is to increase patient services and safety by making air ambulances more effective through coordination and coordinated use of common resources. A key part of this journey is to embrace Digital Transformation.
Flightman has worked closely with the KSA team to deliver a Connected Aircraft solution that includes a full EFB suite including eJourney Log, Electronic Flight Folder, and Content Management on their 6 Pilatus PC-24 aircraft in a fully equipped air ambulance configuration. These form a key part of the strategy to streamline the data integration between Ground-Based Flight Operations and Flight Crew.
Flightman’s Connected Aircraft solutions including EFB are widely implemented across the commercial airline industry. Now other aviation sectors such as Air Ambulance and Air/Sea Rescue can benefit from their experience and lead the way in the Digital Transformation of the Aerocare sector.
