Flightman to provide Electronic Flight Bag solution to LOT Polish Airlines
Flightman today announced that LOT Polish Airlines, the national carrier of Poland, signed a contract to deploy their EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) solution across their entire fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Boeing 737-400, Embraer 195/175/170 and Bombardier Q400 aircraft.
LOT Polish Airlines selected the suite of Flightman’s EFB software applications to reduce paper from the cockpit, drive data analytics and streamline their operational processes. Flightman’s EFB solution will be deployed on Windows Surface Pro 4 devices enabling pilots to remotely perform flight briefing, complete sector details and reporting and access electronic documentation. The EFB solution shall also be integrated with both a third party charting application and performance calculator. The Flightman modules selected includes the Electronic Flight Folder, eJourney Log, Forms Designer and Content Management applications.
Upon commencing the EFB project in Warsaw, Mateusz Kołakowski, Program Manager, LOT Polish Airlines said “Our corporate aim within the next five years is to achieve significant growth and leveraging proven IT technology is an important enabler in achieving this goal.
