Croatia Airlines Go-live with Flightman’s Electronic Flight Bag Software
Flightman today announced that Croatia Airlines have successfully gone live with their suite of EFB applications, including Flight Briefing, Content Management and the Flightman Ground Administrative Manager applications across their A320 aircraft. The onboard applications are integrated with existing Croatia Airlines 3rd Party applications.
Currently Croatia Airlines’ pilots are using the Flightman Electronic Flight Folder to perform their flight brief directly from the cockpit or alternatively from a remote location such as their hotel or home. In addition, documents are being centrally managed and updated by the airline to enable pilots to view manuals in electronic format on their EFB devices.
Following the completion of many flights for more than six months, Captain Mario Mišić, EFB Project Manager, Croatia Airlines said “Overall we are pleased to be flying and using the Flightman software onboard our A320 aircraft. Together with the Flightman Ground Server which is integrated with our flight planning system, we have seen the additional benefits of remotely performing our flight briefs and managing document updates. This new approach significantly streamlines some of our internal processes, and the scalability aspect of the solution provides a platform for the future deployment of additional applications.”.
Croatia Airlines’ existing use of the Flightman software is a significant step forward towards the removal of paper from the flight deck and the streamlining of their operational processes. The entire solution along with the introduction of their new processes is being administered through the Flightman Ground Administrative Manager application.
